The Alexandria Markets were proposed to provide a food retail hub in the heart of inner Sydney’s new residential areas. The development offers large and small tenancy spaces for quality food retail. Housed in a collection of former industrial buildings on a prominent corner site, the markets become a significant community focus and amenity. New glazed shopfronts are incised into the aged brick shells and services are renewed and overtly integrated to offer a high degree of end user flexibility. A new generous entry structure will announce the transformation.
