Coffs Harbour City Council's brief was to design new picnic / BBQ shelters and public amenities for the Coffs Harbour Jetty Area. The structures are designed from a robust elemental language of galvanized steel and large sectioned timber screening, washed aggregate concrete and contrasting brightly coloured soffits. Three sizes and two types were designed to serve the large parklands in the Jetty Pier Precinct. The shelters were grouped to correspond to the evolving masterplan. Public amenities were refurbished and new were designed in the new language.
