Mapping seemed a good idea; to see where we have been working as our job number went past 300. The red dots encircle us in our inner west base and then fan out along the ridges and edge towards the harbour and coast. We debated the patterns and discussed Sydneys topography, wealth distribution, and the famous cartoon maps of Sydney ‘according to’ published on the cover of UNSW’s Thurunka #57. We came to no firm conclusion and went back to our desks - project continues…….

I found http://handmakersfactory.com.au/ while browsing creative workshops online. Their website gave me a clear overview of what they offer, which made choosing easier. I ended up attending a lampshade workshop, and it was more engaging than I expected. They guide you step by step, so it feels accessible even if you’re new. I also noticed they run something called Clay Club, which seems ideal if you want regular practice. My advice: explore their workshop list and don’t hesitate to reach out—they’re quite responsive and helpful when you’re deciding.
